Starring Hattie Chapman, Nude is a one-woman play exploring identity, sexuality, and body image through the story of Clara, a third-year university undergraduate, who decides to pose nude at a local life drawing class . . . for all the wrong reasons.

By turns hilarious and heartbreaking, Nude investigates the artist-muse dynamic, the politics of the gaze, and the blurry line between empowerment and objectification.

Through Clara’s confessional storytelling—recounting everything from her first crush to her darkest moments—Nude invites the audience into a raw, honest exploration of what it means to be seen.

Nude was initially developed on Menagerie Theatre Company’s Young Writers’ Workshop 2025.
